Positive Cognitive Behavioural Therapy focuses on the individual’s strengths, abilities and resources thus empowering them to overcome their own obstacles with hope and optimism.
Family Systems Therapy looks at the family as one emotional unit and the relationships within the family along with its structure.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is based on the idea that how we think (cognition), how we feel (emotion) and how we act (behaviour) all interact together. Specifically, our thoughts determine our feelings and our behaviour. Therefore, negative and unrealistic thoughts can cause us distress and result in problems.
Cognitive Processing Therapy focuses on helping people who are "stuck" in their thoughts about a trauma.
